My Pink Textured Kikki K

Hey everyone! Sorry for not posting like I said I would but things happen! I moved back home for awhile as my Dad broke his leg and my brother needed help on our farm so I've been pretty busy the past few months but I'm back now :D

Anyways this post is all about my kikki k textured pink leather time planner. You can find a similar one here: http://www.kikki-k.com/2015-leather-time-planner-large-ocean.

Please keep in mind these photo are a few months old so I don't have an update photo to show you but its still the same set up :)

As you can see its pink and textured. It has the gold Kikki K symbol on the strap.

Lets take a look inside shall we?....

So when you open it the first thing you see is my dashboard with just a journalling card from project life (Heidi Swaap Value kit in gold foil), which were so hard to find but you can get them on Amazon US . Behide that is some craft paper which I laminated from Craftie Charlie. Now I'm not sure what brand or collection its from but Craftie Charlie supply loads and loads of different crafting supplies for all your needs. They are UK based but they ship world wide.
In the pockets on the left, there are journalling cards which again are from project life.
The "Today" notepad came with the Planner and I just jot down things I need to remember or things I need to do.
In the left pocket at the front I have some page flags from Target which I was super lucky to find on ebay. These suckers are sold out everywhere so I'm not sure where you can find these.

On the next page you can see the back of my dashboard and on the right are some stickers which came with the planner. These are handy for everyday use.

The Next pages are Monthly view and I have April opened up just to show you how I decorated it. You can decorate and costomise it to whatever you want. Its all about personal preference and your own creative style. I use different colour page flags for different things going on like blue is for appointments. I also have another journalling card from Simple Stories (You can find this on Craftie Charlie.). which is laminated, just to break up the pages.

I Like to use different designs to break up each section. This is a printable which I think I found etsy.
It helps to motivate myself hahaha!

Here we have my week on two pages. Again I've decorated it in accordance to my style and preference. I also have different colour page flags here, which are all colour coded to the specific task or appoitment etc... I have also made this little dashboard with page flags to write down something which may not be set in stone just yet so I can just get rid of them if the plan doesn't go through.
I put another journalling card here, which is removable to break up the pages again. At the back you can just make out the little book mark with a diamond on top so I can just flip right to my week. This again is a printable from etsy.

On to the next section!...

This section contains my health eating habits. So I have my weight loss tracker, recipes and workout routine here. You can customise each section to your needs.

The next section is where I write all my blog ideas and what I have written and what I have to write. I just have another dashboard to help keep me organised.

Here I have random stuff coming up!
So I have to do lists with stuff I have to do, books to read, movies to watch, tv shows to watch etc... Its just very random!

And in this last part it has nothing in it yet so I'll have to think of something to put in here!

At the very back I have a plastic pocket on the left with random receipts and papers and this note pad which came with the planner. This is really handy for shopping lists! hahaha Obliviously you can use it for anything you want.

So thats my Kikki K in a nut shell! I love it so much and I've never been so organised in my life. It makes life so much easier. :)

Peace out! xox

Kikki Accessories Haul :)

Hi everyone! Sorry I haven't posted in a while I promise to post more. But anyway today's post is a little different to what I normally post but I've seen so many people posting planner related blog posts recently so I said I might aswell join the band wagon!
So I have these Kikki K goodies stashed away for such a long time now that I nearly forgot I had them!

Everything in this haul came from a website called kikki k. They are an australian based company but the owner is Swedish. You can see the Swedish influence throughout the products on the website. Obiviously if you live in Australia you'll see many Kikki stores around. I wish we had something like this here in Ireland, I guess I'll keep dreaming! Anyway onto to the haul! (All prices are in AUS Dollars)

First up is this really cute notepad from the collection "Love Mail". I love how pink and girlie this is.

There are so many different patterns on the paper when you look inside. (As seen below.)

I'm probably going to cut some of the pages out and laminate them and stick them in my planner.

This was $8.95.

Loving the hearts in this one.

Next up are these ball point pens from the "Live
Bright" collection. I actually own a set of these
already but I love them so much I had to pick
up another set. I love all of them, the colours
and the patterns on them are so pretty.
I love the way they write also and they fit perfectly in my planner.

 These were $9.95

A girl needed some glitter tape. . .  This was $3.95

Next are these vision board cards from the "Inspiration" collection.
I picked these up because they had some nice inspirational quotes that I put up on my wall and inspire me and motivate me when I'm down. This was $ 9.95.

Next I picked up some sticker books. I got the "Confetti" DIY and Party Stickers and Gift Tags and the "Live What You Love" Sticker book. These were $19.95 each.

Lets have a look inside shall we?

So pretty! They look so nice in the book I don't even want to use them!

I also picked up some water stickers just to keep track of my daily water intake, nothing special! These were $3.95

Lastly I picked up this daily task planner thingy. I'm still not sure what I'm going to do with this yet because I have everything written in my planner. I'll find a use for this, might be handy to keep downstairs and I could use it for cleaning tasks and shopping :) This was $12.95

Hope you enjoyed this little Kikki K haul! Keep a look out for my next blog post which will be on my Pink Kikki k Planner :)

Have a good day,

NYX Matte Lipstick Haul

So today while I was at the chemist I saw that they had a new NYX stand and I went a bit mad with lip products. I picked up six of the matte lipsticks and two lip pencils. The Lip pencils were about €5 and the lipsticks were €7.50.

The two lip pencils I picked up were 048 Rose (Top) and 839 Dolly Pink (Bottom). I don't have lip pencils in these colours and thought that I could use them with some of the matte lipsticks I got, although that Dolly Pink colour is super barbie pink! I'm sure I'll grow to love it.

Look how pretty these matte lipsticks are! From R-L Angel, Bloody Mary, Hippie Chic, Natural, Audrey and Strawberry Daiqouri. I'm loving these colours for Spring and Summer! Below are pictures of them on my lips. Excuse the rough application :P.

Hope you enjoyed this little haul today and hope you're having a great day!

March Favourites 2015

What it's already April??

So I apologise for being MIA for the last 3 weeks, my laptop was being repaired and just got it back. So what better way to make up for the time I've missed then to write my March Favourites. I've some new favourites this month and products that I'm trying out. So on we go...

So first off is face products. I've been currently using the stila one step skin correcting and brightening serum as a primer. I still love my Too Faced Hangover primer, but when I'm heading out for a night out I want extra protection for my red cheeks. This stuff really calms the redness in my face and makes my face bright and evens out my complexion. I gotta say I'm impressed so far.

The foundation I've been trying to use is the Make up Forever HD foundation. This foundation I got in New York a few months back and its not really working out that well, its just a tad bit light for me at the moment. I'm sure I'll get some use out of it next winter. I'm still loving my Mac Face and Body and for powder I'm still using my holy grail, Mac's Mineralised Skin Finish in Light Plus. Just check out my Febuary Favourites for my ultimate favourites!

These are new favourites of mine right now. I'm loving the Kat Von D Shade and Light Contour Palette (Top). It's such an awesome palette. The shades that I used are Lucid (Light) and Sombre (Contour). They are the lightest hightlight and contour shades. I'm really enjoying this.
On to blush. Right now I'm really loving the Mac Sheertone Blush in Blushbaby (right). I think its the perfectmid tone pink blush for spring. Love. For highlighter I have a new Love with the Balm's Mary Lou-manizer (left). I've been getting big into highlighters recently and I absoutely love this product! It's definitely a must have in every girl's collection.

Onto eyes and lips next! I thought it was time this month to break out my Naked 2 palette again and boy did I miss it! I don't know why this was in the back of my make-up drawer, I always forget some products and then I see them again and think 'why don't I use this?'. I really miss this little gem and I've been using it again this month and been creating new looks and just messing with it.

For lips this month I'm been using my Chanel lipstick in 86. I went through a nude phase, well actually no I always have a nude phase, but anyways, this lipstick is perfect for spring, it just makes me smile when I wear it. It's a soft nudey pinky peach and I love this! It's been getting some hard core loving this month!

That sums up my March Favourites!

Hope everyones having a good day :)

Watch this space for more posts coming!

Febuary Favourites :)

Hey everyone, its that time of the month again, (no not that) for my monthly favourites. Yeah yeah I know its like the 8th of March, but better late than never! Anyway lets get started!

First up is face products. Most of these products are fairly new but have taken over my life.

For a moisturer I've been loving this Jose Maran Argan Infinity Cream Intensive Creamy Oil, thats a mouth full! It works wonders for extremely dry skin, which my skin is during the winter and spring. You only need a little amount for your face as I found it a bit oily, but its a wonderful product.

For face primer I'm currently using the Too Faced Hangover Primer. This primer is probably one the best I've tried and I've tried many, many primers in the past. Its silicon free, infused with coconut water, probiotics and skin revivers which gives the skin a fresher and flawless look. I'm all for silicon free primers because silicon breaks me out like theres no tomorrow.

For my foundation and concealar I'm using the Mac Face and Body in N1 and the Mac Pro long wear in NW15. The Mac Face and Body is a new one for me but I'm loving it so far. Its light wearing and builds up to a medium coverage. I use the Mac Pro Long Wear just under my eyes for a brightening effect and to bring a little life back to my face.

L-R Harmony Blush, Exposed Blush and Soft and Gentle Highlighter.

On to powders, highlighters and blushes.
My all time favourite powder to set my makeup with is the Mac Natural Skin Finish in Light Plus. I've been using this powder for years and it will never be replaced. It gives such a natural glow to the face and sets my makeup beautifully. It also lasts all day long, which is great because I'm usually too busy to re-touch.

My favourite blush right now is the Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Exposed. Its perfect for pale skin girls as it gives a natural flush to the cheeks without it looking too overbearing.

For contouring I use the Mac blush in Harmony. Its my favourite contour colour and again its perfect for paler girls. It has an ashy undertone which is perfect as a contour because the last thing you need is a reddy undertone contour which just looks horrible. I've been using this blush as a contour for years and years and I'm trying to branch out to other contours right now.

I'm new to the highlighter game but I've already built up a collection. I'm really liking the Mac Highlighter in Soft and Gentle at the moment. It gives such a beautiful champagne glow, which I'm loving at the moment. If ye have any other highlighter recommendations send them my way!

On to eyes now. My current eyeshadow love is my Lorac Pro Palette. It is just unbelievable!
Here are a few of my favourite colours, they are not in order though, Expresso, Garnet, Deep Purple, Mauve, Sable and Pewter. The shadows are so buttery and so creamy and the blend like a dream. Pick one of these up on amazon if you can!

For bottom liner I've been really drawn to purples lately. This is the Urban Decay 24 Glide On Eyeliner in Voodoo. Its such an awesome colour for a bottom liner. Its so vibrant purple. Its perfect for spring time I think.

As for mascara Iam in absolute love with the Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara. In my opinion its the best mascara on the market right now, it difinitely beats the Benefit They're Real Mascara, but only in my opinion. It gives such lift and volume to the eyelashes and also gives amazing lenght. I love it because I have very short eyelashes and this does wonders for my eyelashes. Hands down best product of 2015 for me.

For my brows I use the Benefit Gimme Brow, brow gel. Now I do use powders too but for everyday I like to used this for a naturally full brow.

For my lips this Febuary I'm loving the Too Faced Melted Nude and the YSL Volupte Rouge in no 15. This YSL lipstick is the perfect colour for spring time, plus peach is one of my favourite colours.

Last but not least is my new Kikki K Time Planner in Lilac. I'm in love with this and it helps me be organized, for once in my life! I adore the colour and the little gold diamonds. I will be doing a separate blog post next week on this baby, so look out for that!

Hope you enjoyed this post.

Happy International Women's Day to all the fabulous women out there!
